That the greatest accomplishments of humanity have yet to happen. I tell the stories that go deep into our modern-souls and search for the understanding we need to get there.
ANDREW WONDER is a filmmaker grounded in deep curiosity and enthusiasm for the easily overlooked aspects of the human experience.
This Emmy, Lion and Pencil winner’s filmmaking journey began as a 17-year-old field producer on MTV’S MADE, leading to a lifetime of adventures like exploring the subterranean world of New York City for his viral documentary, UNDERCITY--described as ‘one of the most iconic and best urban exploration videos ever.’ His debut feature, FERAL, is praised by the New York Times as ‘powerful, revelatory,’ and boasts a perfect critic score on Rotten Tomatoes.
An NYU graduate, Andrew was at the forefront of the digital revolution, collaborating with distinguished filmmakers like Harris Savides, ASC and his mentor, Paul Schrader--evolving from typing Schrader’s scripts to a pivotal creative partner. His roles have included second unit director and associate producer of ‘Dog Eat Dog’ (Cannes Director’s Fortnight 2016), co-director of ‘Future of Movies’ for La Biennale di Venezia’s 70th anniversary and serving as cinematographer on ‘Oh Canada’ (Cannes Competition, TIFF Gala, NYFF 2024).
